Monvou currently does not use optional analytics, marketing or retargeting cookies. Only technically necessary cookies and local storage are used where required for the requested app functions.

Technically necessary storage

• Session cookie: language, CSRF protection, PIN/gift unlocks, security and editing status.
• Group card: device cookie mv_grp_done_... to limit entries to one per device.
• Group card: localStorage entry monvou_group_entry_... so participants can later edit or delete their own entry.
• sessionStorage: technical helpers for stable navigation, for example when returning from the browser cache.
• Backend: localStorage may store a display/theme choice in the internal admin area.

No advertising tracking

These storage mechanisms are not used to create advertising profiles and are not used for marketing tracking. A cookie banner for optional consent is therefore currently not provided. If Monvou introduces analytics or marketing services in the future, consent will be requested separately beforehand.

Users are generally responsible for the cards, group entries, gift content, uploaded files and messages they create or submit. Monvou provides the technical platform and removes unlawful or abusive content where we become aware of it.
